Education

I am an impassioned data / predictive analytics and now liberated expert consulting with insurers answering the question, "We want to be better at being at using data driven insights to make decisions in our organization.  HOW DO I GET THERE?" My business consulting centers on:  Helping insurers and other businesses uncover the real business problems to determine if and how they can be solved with data/analytics, crafting an analytics plan through implementation and training, communicating ideas on using predictive analytics, creating adoption paths, rewards, risks, challenges and expected outcomes to both executive and staff level personnel.  My goal is to assist carriers in unlocking the complete and available ROI of enterprise wide insurance analytics applications. I'm liberated because I am happy to be representing only my clients and not any employer.  YOU are my focus.


My background mix of technical and executive level insurance company experience coupled with 20+ years and hundreds of conversations / projects with insurers on data and analytics, give me a rare and valuable perspective for you to leverage.

WE DID IT!!



Just prior to my current role, I was Vice President of Business Development at EagleEye Analytics, a provider of state of the art advanced insurance specific modeling technology and business information tools. My role was to consult with insurance companies in developing insurance specific business plans driven by analytic solutions and helping them execute on those plans. I provided valuable guiding information for insurance executives ensuring they were prepared for the timeline, critical pivot points as well as the risks and rewards.

Prior to EagleEye, I was Vice President of Sales for ISO Innovative Analytics  and was Director of New Business Development for Lexus Nexus (ChoicePoint), responsible for direct sales and consultation for insurance companies’ pricing, underwriting and marketing  programs.  I began my customer facing roles with Fair, Isaac and Company (FICO), working with insurance companies to integrate predictive models and credit data into their insurance processes. My insurance industry experience includes several years of in key underwriting, marketing and product development positions focusing on personal lines insurance, with the most recent position as Underwriting Vice President with Shelby Insurance.

I'm an active leader chairing and working on several committees at the national level for the Society of CPCU and am currently (2028) President of the Columbus CPCU Chapter.  I have published articles and conducted seminars for insurance trade publications and industry groups on predictive modeling, the use of consumer credit in insurance and multi-channel marketing.
